Questions buyers ask before the first order

Seven days from order confirmation to shipment for most mold bases. Complex or very large work is quoted with a firm date instead of a range, and that date is fixed before we start machining.

±0.02 mm on fitting and ground features — mold pockets, guide-pillar bores, shut-off faces and plate parallelism. Ground working faces are flat and parallel to 0.02 mm / 100 mm, datum faces square to 0.02 mm / 100 mm, and ground surfaces finish to Ra 0.8 µm. Non-fitting dimensions are held to 0.3 mm. Above 600 mm the tolerance is agreed case by case — contact us with the drawing. Tell us the tolerance on your drawing and we confirm the figure we will hold before quoting.

One set. Mold base plates are matched, so we do not split a set — but a single set is a normal order for us, not an exception.

Yes. Send DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES or PDF, or even a clear photo of the print. Tell us the steel grade, quantity and target date and we will come back with a price and a delivery date.

Both. Standard plastic mold bases are the volume part of our business. Custom non-standard mold bases, die casting mold frames, die sets and large machined plates are quoted per drawing.

30% deposit with the order and 70% before shipment. We do not offer credit terms to new customers; after a working history we can discuss the terms for repeat business.

Parts are film-wrapped and packed in wooden cases suitable for container loading. We quote FOB China by default and can quote CIF to your port on request. We ship from Shenzhen and Guangzhou.

Usually within one business day, provided the drawing and the quantity are clear. Incomplete specifications are the main reason a quotation takes longer, so please include the fields listed in the form above.
