Custom Non-Standard Mold Base
Non-standard sizes, pocket layouts and cooling patterns — machined from your drawing, not adapted from a catalogue.
Most of what leaves this shop is non-standard. A cavity layout that does not fit the catalogue, a cooling circuit that has to route around a slider, an ejector pattern dictated by the part — that is normal work here, not a special favour.
Send the drawing in DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES or even a clear photo of the print. We review it, confirm the grade, the tolerance class and the features that matter, and quote with a firm date rather than a range.
Tolerance follows the drawing: ±0.02 mm on fitting and ground features, 0.3 mm on general non-fitting dimensions, and anything above 600 mm agreed case by case before we start.
Because everything is machined in-house on our own three-axis centres, a non-standard base does not mean a longer lead time — most custom bases still ship inside seven days, and the ones that do not are quoted with a fixed date up front.
