Injection Mold Base
A complete A/B plate assembly — guide pillars, bushes and the ejector pattern already in, ready for your cavity work.
An injection mold base is more than two plates. The A and B plates have to be parallel, the guide pillars and bushes have to be bored to position, and the ejector pattern has to line up with the runner and the parting line — or the mold fights itself for its whole life.
We machine the complete assembly to your drawing: A/B plates, spacer plates, guide pillars and bushes bored to position, and the ejector pattern drilled and tapped where your design needs it.
Fitting and ground features are held to ±0.02 mm, guide-pillar bore position included. The base is measured on a coordinate measuring machine before packing and the records can travel with the shipment, so your incoming inspection and our numbers speak the same language.
Send the drawing with the plastic, the expected annual volume and which faces will be polished — we will confirm the grade and the ejection layout before quoting rather than after.
